I just ended a toxic relationship. Reading what you wrote made me aware of my contribution and your answer to the person who commented on forgiveness allowed me to make space to forgive myself and him.
I especially liked the paragraph on knowing what l need to feel loved and safe in a relationship. It helped me see how conditioning from childhood and experiences since have formed patterns of unworthiness in my sub conscious. I have been working on my inner being for sometime now via meditation and affirmations. You were so helpful and l am grateful. God Bless.

Hello there, thank you for commenting! Forgiveness can be hard when the other person doesn’t seem to think of anyone but themselves. But the most important thing to remember is that forgiveness isn’t for them, it’s for you. It’s for your own peace of mind and coming to terms with what happened so you an move on. Even if the person didn’t make a mistake, and they were intentional in their hurtful actions, you can still choose to forgive them so you can let go of the hurt they caused. Don’t feel obligated to tell the person they’re forgiven, they don’t need to know they’re forgiven in order for you to be at peace. This is the hardest part of forgiveness, a lot of people seem to think “if they don’t feel remorse they don’t deserve forgiveness.” But the other person is going to continue with their lives regardless of how you feel towards them, so why hold onto the pain? Forgiveness is simply allowing yourself the opportunity to no longer be affected by someone else’s past actions. I hope this helps.

I can’t see a date here so not sure when this was written. Thanks for this post. I have a question about your thoughts about forgiveness when another person just doesn’t consider your needs and is dismissive of you. You talked about forgiving mistakes that were made but there are situations where how people behave is not a mistake on their part.

Interested to hear your view.

Warm Regards
Rachael

Hey there, that can be a tough decision. I would say, if the crystal pendant still calls to you and you still feel like there’s energy there, then dismantling it isn’t necessary. If the crystal pieces could potentially fall out of the wire frame because they are cracked, then I would dismantle (personally). But if the crystal is still safe in its frame, it probably just needed a good energetic release! I hope this helps.

I don’t feel like the crystal is dead I actually feel a weird pull or connection where it is concerned. Reading your article has me considering should I dismantle the pendent and possibly seperate the two halves or what would you suggest? I am a novice at crystals and so any advice I would appreciate.
Much Thanks
